Omega-3 fatty acids make your blood less likely to form heart attack-causing clots. Omega-3s may also offer protection from irregular heartbeats, decrease triglyceride levels, lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of stroke. So where to find omega-3s? Try salmon. Aside from being an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, salmon is low in saturated fat and cholesterol and is a good source of protein. Add salmon to the menu, starting tonight!
